बॉलीवुड के म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर बप्पी लहरी का निधन, हॉस्पिटल में ली अंतिम सांस
नई दिल्ली। बॉलीवुड के म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर बप्पी लहरी का मंगलवार रात 11 बजे 69 साल की उम्र में निधन हो गया। उन्होंने मुंबई के जुहू स्थित क्रिटी केयर हॉस्पिटल में अंतिम सांस ली। म्यूजिक इंडस्ट्री में बप्पी लहरी को डिस्को किंग कहा जाता था। उनका असली नाम अलोकेश लाहिड़ी था। बप्पी लहरी अपने म्यूजिक के साथ साथ सोना पहनने के अंदाज को लेकर भी जाने जाते थे।
बप्पी दा इंडस्ट्री में अपनी अलग आवाज और संगीत के लिए पहचाने जाते थे। उन्हें 1975 में आई फिल्म जख्मी से पहचान मिली थी। पॉप म्यूजिक को भारत लाने का श्रेय बप्पी लहरी को ही जाता है।
